My friend and I happened to pass Mulberry Lodge when we were looking for a B&B after hiking Croagh Patrick, and we could not have made a better choice. Our host was so incredibly helpful--giving us tea, coffee, biscuits after our hike, telling us where to eat/go out for the night (both were great suggestions!). She even drove us to... More

Just returned from a great week in Westport where I was on a business trip. The owners are great hosts and could not have been more welcoming. It was nice to get a bed that my feet don't hang out of as I'm six foot three! Mulberry Lodge is spotlessly clean and has everything you need for a business or... More

I had the pleasure of staying at Mulberry Lodge for four days during late August 2011, when visiting the Westport area for work reasons. The journey from Dublin to Westport was eventful, and took slightly longer than expected, after calling ahead saying that it would be past 11 by the time I arrived the owners had prepared a meal and... The hostess was welcoming, entertaining and could not do enough for us. The rooms are superb and the cleanest I have ever seen. The breakfast was tasty varied , healthy and wholesome... More

Rooms were first class with beds very comfortable. The owner was very friendly on arrival. The breakfast was dissapointing in that the choice of cornflakes/rice crispies/wheatabicks - no muesili until the 2nd morning, and when requesting the 'mini breakfast' only 3 items were on the plate instead of the 6 on the Menu. Two of our party asked for other... More

This place was recently gutted done up from scratch. This was obvious as it was of very high standard and spotless. The bed was VERY comfortable. I have spent a lot of time in bed over the past few months (I'm not lazy) and the thought of lying down for hours on end isn't rally appealing to me. But this... More

Location is within 5-10mins walk of Westport town. The room we were in was very basic and bathroom could have done with a little redocorating. Towels provided could also be changed as some had holes in them. The breakfast was ok for cereal and toast but cooked breakfast was not nice. It was like the sausage had been re-heated in... More
