This was one of our first experiences staying in a B&B. Glen Eagles was as described. We were happy with a clean comfortable place to stay for the night. Comfortable beds and a great view from the loft skylight. Helen gave us our best Irish breakfast on our 10 day vacation to Ireland. It was a fabulous walking distance to town and Helen was a perfect hostess with very helpful with maps and tips for places to see and eat.

The location was quiet. Parking was a little tricky, but off-street. The room, while it could've used a fresh coat of paint and new bed spreads, was spotless-clean. The walk into town was nice - not to far and mostly flat. Helen was gracious and friendly, gave us lots of information on not only Limerick but where we were traveling next. Breakfast was generous and tasty - Helen makes a great omelet!

Generally Glen Eagles was a very pleasant experience. The room was an adequate size, and quite clean. We had off-street parking. Breakfast was very good, and made to order. Probably the biggest drawback was very low water pressure in our room. It was low unless the toilet was running; if it was you just have to wait a bit. Helen is charming and bends over backward to be helpful.

Good size rooms, surprisingly quiet, excellent breakfast, with a view to an Irish garden. Walking distance to the sights and sounds of the downtown core. Thank you Angela for your recommendation of the Locke Pub! It was fantastic!

Helen was a very happy, helpful and friendly hostess - she provided terrific suggestions on where to go in Limmerick as well as directions to sites out of town and even gave us a map! Breakfast was delicious, and this B&B is located within easy walking distance to the river walk, King John’s Castle and several places to eat. The accommodations were clean, comfortable and basic - but we were there to see the town, not hang out in our room.

Nothing special about this place but it's clean and the proprietors are friendly. The hot water heater was out the day we came but they comped us breakfast instead. There's not much nearby so don't bother looking for restaurants unless you want to go into town.

We were delighted by our stay at Helen's home in Limerick City. We parked in her driveway, and she showed us our room, so we could get out and explore the city. She gave us some wonderful local recommendations, and we had a great night on the town. *We were warned about Limerick but those rumors were unfounded. Anyway, Helen's accommodations were more than enough for a 1-night stay. She was very sweet, and went out of her way to help us plan the next few parts of our week-long adventure. More than anything, we were very grateful for her kindness and hospitality and to help us plan our routes. (AND WHAT TO SEE.) And the Irish Breakfast we had the next day was Stellar. We would totally go back and see Helen again in a heartbeat. Thanks again, Ms. Creamer!

My wife and I stayed 2 nights from 28-9-18. With due respect to the owner Helen and the wonderful breakfasts provided by Angela, the building and rooms were long overdue for an upgrade. Helen provided us with a one night refund due to our complaints which included, Room 6 tiny and two small single beds when we ordered a double. Shower scalding hot or cold, basin taps poor flow and access, Room 7 second night 3 flights up narrow stairs, generally cramped, raked ceilings, no mirror in the bathroom, lumpy bed, slow basin drainage. Cat 1 B&B! Know what you're getting into.

We stayed here following a travel day from Dublin and after visiting King John's Castle. It was only a few minutes from the castle and a short drive to/from our late dinner at Bunratti Castle. A great breakfast got us on our way the next day. We didn't spend much time in Limerick, but it would have been a convenient and short walk into town from his clean and friendly B&B.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Glen eagle bed and breakfast for a night due to the close proximity to the event we were going to and also because of the humble price. When we arrived we were greeted by the owner Helen, who is a very welcoming lady who really looked after us 🤗 The bedroom itself is basic but it has everything that you need and is quite spacious. The following morning we had an Irish breakfast with the option of also having cereal , fruit juices , yogurts and omelettes. Overall a very pleasant stay .
