Helen is so friendly and helpful and I think this really makes this a brilliant B n B. Location is good, being only 5 or 10 minutes walk into town, and Helen directed us to a good restaurant and a pub where traditional music is played. Our room could've slept 4 people, so that gives you a good idea of... More

Friendly host, great location. There had been some water damage to the roof of the room we stayed in, and the room certinally looked a bit tired - some dollars spent fixing it up wouldn't go astray. Breakfast was beautiful and the other guests staying there were friendly. We checked in right on 2pm (which was the time we had... More

I got there without booking, and luckily the owner had a room for me. Nice, quiet room with bathroom and water boiler. Downtown is only a short 5-10 minutes walk away. Very nice breakfast in a nice environment and quiet neighbourhood. The owner, Helen, was really kind and friendly. More

Frankly, I was a little concerned about Glen Eagles because of the other reviews ("showing signs of wear," "well worn"), but after we met Helen and saw the rooms, I stopped worrying. The location is the closest to downtown Limerick that we could find (10 min walk to King John's Castle and downtown). Her sister met us when we arrived... More

My wife & I stayed for one night (Sunday) in Limerick so I booked this B&B for its location. I thought that Sunday would be hard to find decent restaurants open so close to the city centre would be beneficial. The house itself isn't pretty from the outside and the inside needs a makeover. Our bathroom had a bad mould... More

It is difficult to give a thorough review of this B&B because the owner was away on holiday in Spain when we stayed here one night. In her absence she had a neighbor, Gino, look after my fiancé and me. Gino gave us a very friendly welcome to Limerick and wanted to hear about our plans in the area. We... More

The owner was not there when we stayed (away for personal reasons) so I can't comment on the service. Location was great, a short walk across the bridge into town. Rooms were fine but were a little rough around the edges/well used. The bed for example was not exactly cushy (I slept fine that said) anymore. Breakfast was pretty decent.... More

We got there a little late and ended up finding out that she had given one of our rooms away. It worked out all right though, because our room ended up having 4 beds. She was ok nice and ended up recommeding a decent resturant for us to eat at. The rooms were spacious and the bathroom had a cool... More
