We booked two riverview rooms for one night and upon checking in we were upgraded to two riverview suites. They were fantastic and had amazing views of the city and river. Would definitely stay again. Excellent location and breakfast also.

We stayed in the strand hotel for the June bank holiday weekend . The rooms are lovely with spacious and luxurious bathrooms, with both bath and shower. Centrally located so it was perfect as a starting point to see the sights on foot. World class cuisine. Extremely helpful staff to make arrangements for taxi, buses, etc as my travel needs arose. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here on a hen package and we were just delighted with our stay. They went all out to make sure we had a really special night. The rooms were lovely, the food was fantastic, they even personalised the menus and the staff were a pleasure to deal with. I couldn't recommend it highly enough for a hen.
