I do not know where to even to begin. When we left Lawcus Farm after staying two nights I told Ann Marie our wonderful hostess that every place we stayed after this would pale in comparison. Ann Marie I was right. Ann Marie and Mark make you feel as if you are old friends. They not only share their beautiful... More

We stayed two nights and could have stayed longer if there weren't so much to see in other parts of the country. This B and B is the epitome of hospitality. We arrived a little after noon, worried that we wouldn't have a room to crash into. But Ann Marie aims to please. We were served tea while we waited... More

My mom and I did a road trip around Ireland and our main focus was to stay in cool, interesting, different places. We actually chose to stay in the Kilkenny area only because we loved the look of Lawcus Farm and even then our expectations were surpassed. First for the guest house - it's a beautiful old building that Mark... More

My fiance, Matt, and I recently undertook a whirlwind, one-week road trip, touring several counties in Ireland. (For those of you still in the planning stages of an Ireland vacation, please note that one week is just not enough time to experience everything you'll want to do and see in this beautiful country!) Along with our small car, we rented... More

My husband and I just returned from our 10 day trip to Ireland, and this was by far one of our two favorite places we stayed. It really is on a farm. They have about 20 acres with lots of animals and gardens. We stayed in the stone room which was a very cool experience. Mark and Anne Marie have... More

On a whim, my boyfriend and I left our urban hotel in Dublin after staying two nights and ventured out to Kilkenny area of Ireland. Thanks to trusty Tripadvisor, we found Lawcus Farm Guest House. We loved our experience from the warm greeting (we caught the owners a bit off guard with our early arrival) to the surrounding area, relaxing... More

This is our first review on Tripadvisor, simply because this place was so wonderful. We came down from Dublin to stay at Lawcus Farm with our 9 month old baby for the weekend. We seriously couldn't have enjoyed it more. Everything surpassed even our highest hopes! Ann-Marie and Mark are wonderful hosts. They welcomed us warmly and spent time chatting... More

Apparently we bring the sun with us! We enjoyed another wonderful trip to Lawcus, where the weather was lovely enough to enjoy the best veggie breakfast on the terrace overlooking the the beautiful Kings river with birdsong filling the air. Lawcus is a magical place, and better each time. We were treated to the newest addition built by Mark, the... More

First is first… Pros: - Awesome breakfast! - Great scenery - Amazing and helpful hosts - Great clean and comfortable rooms Cons: At first it was a little hard to locate, but that could have been my navigators fault. If you are looking for a slice of heaven stay here. The breakfast was well beyond expectation. They have options and... More
