A very, very lovely bed & breakfast located in the heart of Kilkenny. Not only was the room cozy and comfortable, but the service was exceptional. The owners of the B&B were really friendly and obliging, made useful suggestions as to what to do in the area and provided us with a great continental breakfast at a very fair price... More

I have mixed emotions about this rating. I do realize how much hard work goes into owning/running a bed and breakfast, but after my stay here I left feeling like I had just stayed at a nameless, faceless budget motel. Our room was very basic and small with an uncomfortable bed and I'm afraid the room is showing the wear... More

The room was comfortable and clean, although small, and supplied with water bottles, wrapped digestive biscuits, and wrapped chocolates as well as the usual facilities for making tea and coffee. The bathroom was clean. We arrived rather late, and did not see Rosanne until the next morning, but her son made an excellent recommendation for dinner. Breakfast was very good.... More

We will return to Bregagh House on our next visit to Kilkenny. Very convenient and pleasant place. We would highly recommend Bregagh House as a Bed and Breakfast. The facilities and friendliness were second to none. Paul and Elizabeth.

First impressions are lasting Impressions. Rosanne greeted us warmly & was very welcoming. The room, although fairly small, was very clean & tidy and the bed was comfortable. Her recommendations for dinner that night were great. We had to leave early the next morning to drive to the Airport & we really appreciated her starting breakfast just a little bit... More

After a horrible experience in a hostel in Kilkenny we desparately needed new accomodations. Luckily Bregagh House was right down the street and they had a free room. It was a lovely property with charming rooms and a great breakfast. Most important the staff was so welcoming and helpful and made us feel completely at home. You can't go wrong... More

We recently spent 6 nights at Bregagh House and found that it was ideal for our needs.Close enough to town but quiet enough to get a good nights sleep. Roseanne and her family were very welcoming and had plenty of good advice on where to go and what to do. We can highly recommend a visit to Kytelers Inn- where... More

Ok, I'll admit that I'm feeling rather sleep-deprived as I write this review, but maybe if the house wasn't so loud, I wouldn't be having this problem. Every noise from the other rooms sounds like a door slamming or people stomping up and down the steps--either everyone here is extremely rude (statistically unlikely, for such a large B&B), or the... Great location in Kilkenny. Rosanne is a gracious host. At a slow walk, you are within all the major things to see and do in 15 minutes. The B&B does have WiFi and Parking. Suprisingly, they only take cash payment. My only issue is the heating. As a few of the other B&Bs I stayed at, the heating is central... More

When you arrive in town, just park your car (there is offstreet parking at Bregagh B & B) and walk. Shopping, great restaurants, pubs and historic sites are all walking distance. Always go for the full Irish breakfast-wonderful!
