The premises are situated in the suburbs of Kilkenny and transport is needed to get into town. The proprietors were very welcoming and the room was spacious and clean with a good size en suite fitted with an over bath shower but there was a tendency for water to gurgle in the bath drain when the next room was using... more

We stayed for two nights at the Rosquil House. The room was large and spotless. Our hosts, Phil and Rhoda, were charming and helpful, and Phil makes the best omelet we have ever had! Rosquil House is in Kilkenny but not in the center of town. We thought this was great because it was close enough that we could walk... more

This is a very pleasant bed and breakfast. The owner is friendly and helpful and very organized. Room and bathroom were large and modern with all amenities. Breakfast was superb! Parked our car for free and walked to the castle. more

Our first two nights in Ireland were spent at Rosquil House. It is beautifully appointed and so clean. Our rooms were large as were the bathrooms. WiFi worked in the breakfast room and sometimes in our bedroom if the window was open. It is a long walk into the center of town. The room facing the road is a little... more

My family and I stayed one night with Rhoda during our trip to Ireland. The house is beautiful and perfectly decorated! The rooms and bathrooms were extremely spacious with nice furnishings. We met Rhoda at checkin and she provided us with maps and ideas for the evening. Thanks to an earlier review I knew to ask for a room at... more

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights in May 2010 having seen the reviews on Tripadvisor. We travel a lot and usually stay in B&Bs where we can and without any doubt this is one of the best, if not the best, we have ever stayed in. Phil and Rhoda are excellent hosts, the food is better than... more

Fantastic stay. Phil is beyond compare and makes you feel at ease at once. The attention to details is evident with everything provided you may need to make your stay just right. Stayed at 5 different places in as many days and this once was the best. Facility is spotless and has the feel of your own house. Breakfast was... more
