We stayed in San Antonio B&B for 2 nights in June 2011 during the Kilkenny Cat Laughs Comedy Festival. On Thursday afternoon we were the first customers to arrive and got immediately upgraded to a bigger room. Already this would have been enough to recommend this B&B, but - I kid you not - the list goes on. On Thursday... More

The San Antonio is located a few minutes walk from the town center. Our room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast good, and Marie was friendly. The only complaint we had was that the walls were a bit thin, so we would recommend it with that caveat. More

Two of us stayed in this b&b as we were attending a wedding in Kilkenny. We chose to stay here even though the wedding was taking place in a hotel on the opposite side of the city. When we arrived, the girl who greeted us said that her Dad would drive us back to the hotel so no need for... More

I wouldn't normally post on these sites, but I felt strongly that I had to share the experience I had in San Antonio. Basically, everything was top notch, from the rooms to the cleanliness of the house overall to the fantastic breakfast and the fact that the town centre is only a short walk away - but the main thing... Our first day in Ireland and wedrove from Dublin airport and arrived at the San Antonio Bed and Breakfast.. The innkeeper Marie welcomed us and made sure we had parking for our large van. The parking was a plus. Rooms were clean but not very spacious as we had a room for three and it was a wee bit crowded.... More

Clean and comfortable B&B with fantastic showers and a great breakfast. Family run - very welcoming and friendly to all. Comfortable rooms for children and adults. Good location - walking distance to city but away from the noise. Would recommend highly as a family base to explore Kilkenny and the surrounding areas for a few days. More

The bedroom was immaculate and extremly comfortable, and the dining room is lovely... More

My wife and I stayed in this B&B for the weekend and were very pleased with the high standards. This B&B is of a higher quality than plenty of hotels. The bedroom and ensuite were clean,of a good spec and very comfortable. Breakfast was also great and included a freshly made fry, cereal and juice. I would definately recommend this... More

The San Antonio was perhaps the best place my wife and I stayed in during our trip to Ireland. The room was incredibly comfortable and QUIET. The entire B&B was immaculate an looked like it had been refurbished the day before we walked in. Its hard wood floors and bright walls made us feel like we were right at home... More

My friend and I had a wonderful time at the San Antonio. Our hosts Marie and Luke were very nice and extremely helpful. The B&B is ideally located just a 10-minute, pretty walk to restaurants, pubs and stores. Marie gave us great dinner suggestions and even helped us pick out a church to attend Easter services in the morning. The... More
