I stayed with Terence as i was shooting a wedding in Kilkenny. Terence is a delightful man who can't do enough to help you. You feel as if you are staying in a home rather than a B & B, very welcoming and i would definitely stay there again. Lovely breakfast too :-) Jayne King More

we stopped at killarney house at 8pm without a reservation (thankfully it was off-season). i rang the bell and terence welcomed us right in. our room was comfortable and warm (which ive found to be a luxury in ireland) ;) the location is a little further from town than i would ordinarily book, but it was still walkable...just not for... Stayed here for 3 nights in June. Terence was a great host, very friendly and informative - gave some great recommendations for pubs & restaurants. He also cooked a great Irish breakfast! Bedroom was nice, clean, functional and no problems to report. Only 10 mins walk from centre of Kilkenny. Would definitely stay here again. More

Only stayed here for one night but loved this B&B. The rooms were clean and nice, if a bit cold (but it was the middle of winter). Found the owner VERY nice and did everything he could to make our stay more comfortable and enjoyable. Breakfast was yummy and service was great. Would recommend to everyone and anyone staying in... Syaed here with a group of seven young people altogether. The hosts couldn't have been nicer. Very welcoming, helpful and it felt like we had the place to ourselves! Breakfast was yummy and served up with a smile. Makes all the difference. The rooms were nice and well equipped. Very clean! More

The rooms were only ok, but the owner of this place was an incredibly nice gentlemen that seemed really intent on the guest's comfort. A hearty breakfast in the morning and some good conversation made for a nice stay at the Killarney house. I would definitely return. More

I thoroughly enjoyed staying at Killarney House. Terry had me in for a cup of tea and made sure I had everything I needed. He also gave great directions into town (a 10-15 minute walk) and honest recommendations about restaurants. The room was small but comfortable and clean with a very nice view over the garden. Breakfast in the solarium... More

Killarney House is about a 15 minute walk from the town centre or train station in Kilkenny, but Terence will pick you up if requested. My single room was small with the world's most compact bathroom, but with an effective hot shower. The 45 euro rate includes a very good full Irish breakfast. The room had a tea maker, tissues,... (March 2006) My wife, niece and I booked our first night in Ireland at the Killarney House. We generally only make reserations the first and last days of vacationing as we don't know where we may want to stop. there were no reviews on the internet so we really didn't know what to expect. Once in Kilkenny on Saturday the... More
