Stayed at the laurels B & B as i was attending a family wedding in Hotel Kilkenny (accross the road). The lady of the house was so unaccommodating when i rang her to say i would be be sending my friend over to check me in, as i was part of the wedding party and it was almost dinner time... More

Very nice staff, decent breakfast. We stayed for one night and slept fine. The place is a little older. The bathroom and the shower are fairly small. There is free parking but the location is not incredibly close to the city center. The price is reasonable given all of the above, though. More

We were sent here upon learning that the owner of our booked B&B had passed the previous day. We expected very little, and were not disappointed. The room with kingsize bed, actually two singles together, was clean and comfortable but very cramped. Bathroom was spotlessly clean with no shortage of hot water and a good shower. Very unfriendly, unaccomodating and charged crazy price for 2 people in double room despite 1 person staying. very cramped and cold. Location wise perfect for overspill from hotel kilkenny. More

I have stayed in this B&B on several occasions and it is ideally located. You are within walking distance of the city centre without the noise of it. I have always found the beds and rooms fine and would have no complaints. The owner and his wife are very friendly and always willing to do that bit extra for you.... More
