Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I wouldn't bother going to stay here, the owners are rude and obnoxious and as soon as they hear your English, they're whole attitude changes. I have no idea why these dinosaurs even run a B&B at their age and I think it's probably time for them to hand up their boots! so, upon reflection ion, there are far better places inn Kilkenny, even more deserving of your hard earned money!

Located right off the main road, but was very quiet! Patrick is a warm host and delivered a delicious breakfast. Very personable, the room was very clean and had tv, small, but served it’s purpose. Would stay here again!

My friend and I stayed only one night at this B&B but it was worth it. Not only are the rooms big, the breakfast was amazing. Both Patrick and Theresa made us feel welcome and gave us some tips on what to see while in Kilkenny. I would highly reccommend staying here if looking for a place in Kilkenny.

After arriving at 5:30 AM in Dublin we drove to Kilkenny. We were beat and really needed a nap. We toured the town for a little while and then found our first B & B for the night. The home was lovely, clean and inviting. We were very pleased.

Really enjoyed our stay at Auburndale B&B in Kilkenny. The house was very clean and the hosts were very nice. The full Irish breakfast was really nice and there was tea/coffee facilities that could be used at any time. The location is only a 20 minute walk to the city center, or about €9 or so for two people in a taxi. Thanks Pat and Theresa😄

Beautiful room, very clean and spacious. Warm atmosphere and delicious breakfast in a cosy dining room served by very kind welcoming hosts. You can choose between Irish and continental breakfast. The hosts will give you useful advice about the city. Definitely to recommend!

Stayed here for 1 night last Friday. Lovely B&B. Our host was great. The room was small but it did the job for 1 night. The place was immaculate and modern. The bathroom was spacious, modern and spotless. There was a fan provided as it was warm. Nice touch. Tea, coffee and biscuits in the main entrance hall which we availed of. Very short spin into town at only €6 during the day and €8 at night. Well priced. Breakfast was delicious and fresh. They had beautiful cranberry bread which I loved. Coffee was piping hot and well made. In the room there was information left for us like taxi numbers etc. very helpful. More like a mini hotel than a B&B. Very professional. I definitely would recommend and I hope to get back some day. They were fully booked the Saturday night so we were disappointed we couldn’t stay. Moved down the road to the Launard B&B the second night which was dreadful!

This B&B is in a beautiful residential area of Kilkenny not far from town. Our host, Teresa recommended taking a taxi to town due to high traffic as parking is at a premium. Good advice and 5 euros. Our room was very comfortable and had a fan that was great during the heat wave. Her husband Patrick is a gem. In the evening we sat outside with him. He had some wonderful stories about his life and facts about Ireland. Breakfast was delicious with pastries, yogurts, fresh fruit and Irish breakfast. Definitely would stay there again.

Bedroom is quite comfortable. Bnb is not located on city center, but since I travelled to Kilkenny to work on Danville Business Park, it was quite handy. Breakfast has fresh fruits, coffee, eggs, cereals, toasts, yogurt and more. Pat and Theresa will definitely ensure to make you feel like home.

Highlights: very good location for Kilkenny once you have a car; adequate parking; very clean, well kept & up to date fixtures & furnishings; very good bed; very good full Irish particularly enjoyed the fresh strawberries & blueberries & pastries. Lowlights: initial welcome into the B&B; loud knock on the bedroom door & call to get us down for breakfast (although we were not late; thought this was incredibly rude); not being told of options for breakfast, assuming once my husband had ordered a full Irish that I wanted one too.
