The pictures on the internet made this b and b look like it has lovely spacious rooms...fraid not, small but on a positive note they were very well decorated they were comfy and the view from the balcony was great. The thing that was the most disappointing was the polish woman there to welcome you.. poor english. cold no warmth... More

Stayed in this B&B for one night in December 2011. Cannot fault it in any way. The room was great (spacious, clean, cosy...on par with some good 4/5 star hotels i've stayed in). The lady who owned it was very helpful suggesting an Italian restaurant nearby which was great. The breakfast was very good (lists to choose from). Really cannot... More

Stayed here as a couple at the beginning of December 2011. Overall had a good experience, however the room was a bit small and at 70 odd quid per night I wouldn't be keen on staying there on my own. The fact that 2 of us were sharing the bill made it fine though. The B&B is located in a... More

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our rooms were very clean but small and the bathroom extremely tiny. More

Atlantic View came highly recommended by a friend. We enjoyed our two nights there but it's fair to say that we weren't as impressed as she was. Our room was comfy, with a great view, but perhaps a bit "tired". Breakfasts were adequate but lacking the "Irishiness" that we found in other stops through Ireland. (The "eastern European woman" referred... More

Stayed 17, September with 6 family members (3 rooms) Read the other reviews; went with caution, however... I feel we had a good stay and would recommend this B/B. We stayed here for one night after driving from Dublin. The caretaker is not Irish...so what?!! She directed us to our rooms with a smile. Yes, the en suite bathrooms are... More

I'm sorry to say that I will have to agree with most comments. The price was expensive for what we got. The rooms were small & onsuite was tiny. The breakfast was skimpy. The landlady was not abit friendly. I would definitely not recommend this B&B to anybody. More

Room is clean and nice, also the bathroom. The breakfast is great and the chef is very nice to talk to. The location is not in city downtown but therefore keeps some more privacy and peace and quiet. It's not that far to walk to the downtown and it's actually better to have a small walk afterfood/beers. :-D The only... More

We stayed at the Atlantic View Guesthouse for five nights in August. We choose it for the location, between Salthill and Galway, and for the possibility to jog along the sea promenade. It was a good location. Salthill is actually very nice in the evenings. Don't miss the Gourmet Tart Company! Paprika, the Indian Restaurant, was also good. But do... More
