Just back from a weekend away in Galway and my partner and I stayed with Eddie in the Four Seasons. We knew we wanted to stay on College road and we're delighted we picked The Four Seasons.Just a 5 minute walk into the city, it was great not to have to worry about paying for parking in the city as... Helen was very nice, and the breakfast was delicious. The room and bathroom were clean, but the bedspreads & curtains need to be changed. They were old enough (and a bit stained) to be offputting. They make the room appear gloomy, when in fact it is a lovely home in a great location ~ but with the current decor, it... More

My husband and I loved staying at the Four Seasons! We were there for two nights and very much enjoyed our visit to Galway. Eddie and Helen are very friendly hosts - we enjoyed chatting with Eddie during our breakfast times! Eddie was wonderful about recommending places and even told us a great route for our morning run. The rooms... More

Eddie was a friendly host without being in your face. He offered some restaurant reccommendations. The room was a little small and I was a bit dismayed when the chambermaid moved my luggage. The carpets and curtains are in need of changing but it was very clean and comfortable with parking and free wi-fi. The location was great and we... More

During our recent trip to Ireland, we stayed at 10 different B & B's, and this was the only one that was a disappointment. Friendly hosts and a good breakfast aside, the room needed a major overhaul. The drapes were filthy and there were many (undetermined) stains on them, as well as on the bedspreads, which had apparently once been... More

Eddie came and picked me up when I arrived in Galway at the bus station. It was pouring rain. He and Helen are very friendly and gave great directions and recommendations for dinner and attractions. Great location, a nice walk from all the action, but in a quiet neighborhood. Excellent breakfast. The room, and en suite bath, as well as... More

Eddie greeted us at the door and helped us upstairs with our luggage. He has a great sense of humor and very informatiive on all kinds of topics from history, and local restaurants and music,to sports. Our room was pretty small (even with the extra twin bed, which gave us more room to spread out a bit), and the carpet... More

While our hosts were friendly and the breakfast was great, this B&B seemed overly expensive for what we got. Our room was very small, and the bedspread was dingy and stained. The carpets were ragged and the room in general needed some work. More

We spent 3 nights at this b &b last week, and felt so warmly welcomed and taken care of. It was a rainy blustery afternoon when we arrived jet lagged and bleary from Texas. After a cosy nap in our lovely room, a shower in the super clean bath, and the loan of an enormous Texaco umbrella, I was fit... More

Wife and I spent one night in Galway and could not have been happier with our BandB choice! Tripadvisor tips were on the mark, as Eddie and Helen could not have been more hospitable, gracious, and helpful. He even saved us a good amount of euro by recommending the bus to Dublin, over the train. Turned out to be a... More
