The owner Pádrig is a really lovely man. Very helpful. This B&B is not luxury but Rooms are clean, house is close to town and you get service with a smile. Will return next time I'm in Galway. More

This was our first stop of a two-week tour and we arrived late afternoon ragged from traveling. Mary's warm greeting was just what we neeeded. You wan't find a more inviting B&B anywhere and breakfast was a real treat. The location was very convenient. We took the bus outside the door or hailed a cab and a few minutes later... More

The reviews we read before going to Ireland in April, 2009 helped us to select this wonderful B&B in Galway which was very easy to locate by extremely tired travelers! After parking our rental car right in front of the entrance, we were warmly greeted at the door by Mary and Roddy. We were delighted with their hospitality, good food and... More

Mary and Roddy were most helpful to us during our 2 night stay at Auburn house. The location was a bit far out of town , but for us with a car it really did not matter. The room was a bit small and there really was nowhere to put our suitcases. We unpacked everything and put the stuff in... More

We showed up late, no problem for Mary (she greeted us upon arrival). Broken flip flop, no problem for Mary (she loaned us a pair). Lost our luggage, no problem for Mary (she loaned us pajamas). You will find no better hosts in Ireland. Recommended we visit Connemara, which became one of the highlights of our trip. We absolutely couldn't... More

We stayed with Roddy and Mary for two nights while in Galway. Wonderful b & b. Hosts were extremely helpful with directions and recommendations. We stayed at their place on Saturday and Monday with a trip to Aran Islands on Sunday, and they were wonderful to let us leave our belongings in our room while we were gone for the... More

A great place to stay. Mary and Roddy were wonderful. Mary marked the map for great jewellery purchases - Roddy marked the map for interesting bypasses on our ongoing journey. Lovely hosts! Room was wonderful - breakfast even more so!! Locality great. Great places to eat of a night time within an easy stroll, Lovely stopover! More

We are a family of two adults and 2 pre-teen children and stayed at the Auburn House for two nights in July. We booked two adjoining rooms and they were clean and well looked after. The B&B is well situated just outside Galway city centre on a bus route or an easy drive. I would recommend taking the bus as... More

the people who run this B&B are very nice and very professional in their attitude. The place is very well run and a nice place to stay. You must either drive or bus into Galway. The restaurant within walking distance, at a hotel, is awful. Get take away from the convenience store next to the B&B instead, or have dinner... More
