“Best Treat of the Trip”

Loved this place! The rooms, furnishings and grounds are beautiful. The breakfast was delicious and more than enough. But... the best part was our host and owner (Maire). She could not be more accommodating to our group. She handled our every need (local directions, directions to next stop, dinner reservations, taxi reservations, luggage storage.....). Could not recommend enough.

“Perfect”

My partner and I couldn't have asked for a better hostess or accommodations. We weren't worthy of the breakfast (homemade granola, fresh squeezed orange juice, free range eggs cooked to order, on and on). Spacious room and great atmosphere.

It was such a pleasure to have you both stay. Your appreciation and enthusiasm combined with your own expert knowledge made it an honour for me to look after you both. Amazing place with an amazing atmosphere. The rooms are unbelievable and the bed was dreamy . Everything was just perfect. 10 minutes walk from the center of galway . Wonderful hostess Worth every euro!!!!!!

“Perfect Getaway to a Quaint B&B”

We just returned from a weekend stay at this lodge. While the lodge itself has such history, the owner, Maire MacDermott, was warm, gracious and just lovely.
