The staff at the Barnacles in Galway was unbelievably helpful. I had no idea how to do anything in Ireland, and they were always eager and ready, AND HAPPY, to help all of the guests. Can't beat the location. Can't beat the price, either. A steal. Highly recommended.

This place was ok to put your head down after a hard night out, not as sociable as other hostels I've stayed at, wifi didnt work in room, had to keep pressing button for shower and it was warm not hot room is tiny. Staff were excellent. Good key locking system and excellent location.
