We had a fabulous dinner at The Huntsman Inn and the service was second to none. I had the linguine seafood and my husband had seafood platter. They were so tasty and fresh and we'd highly recommend both. We were delighted with the wide selection of beers too! For dessert we had the toberlone cheesecake. I didn't expect much from... More

Just came back from our Galway weekend. Very impressed! Rooms nice and very clean - all you need(including iron and tea/coffee kit in it) is there. Restaurant and bar both great! Food is delicious and service fast and very attentive. Fish&chips and toblerone Cheesecake to die for;) location great - 3 minutes driving from centre - still very close to... More

This busy restaurant offers some excellent food options. Of particular note are the vegetarian options. It was my first time to see quinoa served as part of a bar food menu. I dropped a star for the bathrooms, which were dirty when visited.

The best place for food in Galway, Was in here on a Saturday lunchtime, the barman heard me discuss a dish I had on a previous visit that wasn't on the menu anymore and insisted on checking if the chef would cook this dish anyway. He did and it was delicious!

The huntsman I think would be the most well known eatery in Galway, convenient for its location and parking. It's spacious and well staffed, seats are comfortable and can cater for large groups, also if you have kids and want to be guaranteed they will be happy, fed and you won't feel people are annoyed by there presence here is... We chose this hotel because it looked good, and it was. The room was basic, and because we were in room 115, we had the handicapped ready bathroom which meant it was enormous. But the big plus here is the location and the restaurant, about 15 minutes to the city centre, and a restaurant staffed by some amazingly energetic young... More

A great hotel - I was staying on business and was delighted by the outstanding service. I got a corner room, which was lovely and a bit bigger than the other rooms. But I found that the WiFi signal was too weak for my iPad. In less than half an hour, the staff had installed a router in the room... More

I ate here a few days back and I have to say it was one of the nicest lunches I've had in a pub or anywhere for that matter in Ireland. I went for the smoked salmon with prawns on brown bread and it was exquisite. The seafood was fresh and succulent, the sauce was beautiful, with fresh bread and... More

Great location very clean nice staff and always busy which is a good sign. Dishes change on a regular basis which is both good and bad as I'm a picky eater and once I find something I enjoy I stick to it Its a little pricey but guaranteed good food

Three of us dined here for lunch Friday 8th February 2012. Very disappointing experience. Food was served luke warm and chips were cold with the chicken wrap. I asked for mine to be heated and the waitress took it back to the kitchen and when it returned I got plain mash instead of champ which had been on the menu.... More
