“A fine old hotel”

This is a lovely setting, convenient to the train ,large comfortable rooms. Breakfast was decent but nothing out of the ordinary. Dinner in the hotel dining room was well-prepared. We found the set-menu dinner quite satisfactory. The highlight of dinner was the level of service provided by "Little John",who did the work of three men!
