Joe and Mary are excellent hosts. Willowbrook is in a great location, just a short bus ride to downtown Dublin and the bus system is easily maneuvered. Mary provides maps of Dublin and shows you exactly what bus to take and where to pick it up for your return trip. For our last night Mary recommended we drive out to... More

Charming grounds and interior. The room was immaculate and the super king bed was the most comfortable we had during our vacation. The breakfasts were excellent with plenty of fruit and pancakes available along with the traditional Irish breakfast. Joseph was very helpful in making sure we navigated public transit easily for the trip downtown, and even lent us change... More

Our family of five (mom, dad, three sons) arrived to meet Joe and Mary, a delightful couple who gave us wonderful advice on traveling around Dublin and points beyond. The rooms were large and immaculately kept. The beds were quite comfortable, and tea and coffee were available in the rooms. Joe's breakfast is great--full Irish b'fast with all the trimmings,... Beautiful house. Mary made us very welcome. Big room with kingsize bed. Small but comfortable bathroom. Lovely dog (Fearnea). Great breakfast, in a lovely garden room. Porridge, muffins, pikelets. Mary was a font of local knowledge, and made our stay in Dublin most memorable. Easy access to bus into town. More

Joe & Mary Mooney run a super friendly B&B. It's located in Clontarf - a residential area just outside the city center of Dublin. The house is warm and nicely decorated. Very well kept. We stayed here twice, in 2 different rooms. Both were cozy and comfortable. The en suite bathrooms are of decent size. Both rooms we saw had... More

We stayed here for two nights, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Mary and Joseph are very welcoming and helpful, our room was very clean and the beds so comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic - I've never seen my daughter eat so much! Guests share a large dining table in the elegant dining room. Clontarf is a quiet suburb, only 10... More

Mary and Joe were great hosts, the room was large, clean and homely. Mary is a great cook and we enjoyed the breakfast. The B&B is close to restaurants and only a short ride to Dublin. I would also highly recommend following Mary’s travel guide from the airport to her place. Easy to follow and was a great help when... More
