My Mother-in law was in hospital at the Mater and we booked in to stay at the Marian based on the good reviews and also how close it is to the hospital.(only a 5 minute easy walk) We were able to park our car in a space off the road just outside the Marian. Our room was very comfortable and... More

Me and my partner have just returned from a 3 day and 2 night stay with Catherine and Brendan at the Marian and I can 100% say that I would stay there again anytime I visit Dublin! You are not just GUEST'S you are individuals and Catherine and Brendan will treat you as such! No generic hello and goodbyes real... More

Marian Guest House is a very nice Bed & Breakfast. The rooms are simple, but very clean, the Breakfast ist great and Catherine and Brendan are so nice! Its only a 10 minute walk to City centre, and a few steps to the next bus station to come to Dublin Airport. If I am in Dublin again, I will come... More

Just back after a two night stay.We had a ground floor room, sharing bathroom and toilet which was no problem. There was tea and coffee making facilities on the landing of the ground floor which was good. The landlady Catherine was welcoming and friendly.Breakfast was very good and for 30 euros each a night it was good value. It is a good basic... More

Marian Guest House is a really really good B&B located in a quiete area near the city centre (just 5-10 minutes walk to O'Connell street). You have a great choice of comfortable rooms (single, double, triple, ensuite or not) for a very good price considering the location of the B&B (from 25 to 70 euro). Everything is clean and comfortable... More

Very nice B&B. The landlady is very kind and helpful. Breakfasts are amazing - a lot of delicious food - full Irish breakfasts. Room was OK, with a window to the inner yard - thus quiet. Bathroom and WC on the room - everything very fine. I reccomend!! More

We stayed here at the start and end of a cycle touring holiday in August, if you're looking for a handy (10 mins walk to the centre) clean place to stay towards the budget end of the market the Marian is spot on. The landlady was really helpful, particularly as we were going to arrive quite late on our return,... More

the overrunning friendliness of the owner Katy (singing during breakfast) couldn't disregard the fact that obstinacy the enticing room-prices Marian Guesthouse is adequate to a Hostel. For the first breakfast we found on two plates each a black hair (we are fair) . Roomcleaning never happens. The old furnitures in our room didn't serve the purpose. The singleroom (chamber of... Stayed at Marion over Easter for four nights with my wife in double room, and my wife's sister (who was married to my late brother) who had a double room for herself. The bed linen and rooms were clean, as was the shower/ toilet facilities in each room. The breakfasts were excellent with enough food for you to make an... More

We are Spanish and we haven't got typical places like this to spend some days abroad. The breakfast has variety and the waitress is cheerful and careful! If we needed anything, she gave us whatever we wanted! And if we couldn't speak English, she always tried to explain anything in different ways to understand her. The room has heat and... More
