Had the family room for 7 people and I could not fault the service provided for this B&B, the room was clean and comfortable and the staff could not have been more helpful in everything they did for us. From booking taxi's, recommending local amenities or knowledge of the public transport system. I was impressed with their attitude and eagerness... More

Had a wonderful weekend Egan brilliant, very helpful, taxis etc. Had such a good time forgot expensive watch, they contacted us immediately we got home and have forwarded on to Wales. Unbelievable, most bed and breakfasts would have denied knowledge. Many thanks we will return! Bill and Denny More

Myself and my husband stayed here in January as part of a present from our daughter. It was very central to Glasnevin cemetary which we were visiting. On the plus side it looks lovely from the outside as it is a lovely old character building on a lovely street. The hotel was comfortable and warm with a lovely sitting room... More

Thank you for your inputs and positive comments. However, I t is unfair to say that it costs 2 Euro for a cup of boiling water. The expensive and varied tea bags are there to be used with the boiling water. The boiling water for 2€ allows you to have a choice of the following expensive teas: Twinings green tea... More

Great place to stay. Good value with everything you could need. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and our room was good. Only slight hitch was that we could hear the extractor fan in a nearby room, but not too much of an issue! The city centre is easily reachable with a 5-10 minute bus ride and there are... More

We stayed at Egans for four nights including New Year's eve. We found all the staff and the Manager to be very friendly and willing to help. They knew all relevant details about public transport in the city. We chose the hotel because we wanted to be conveniently located for the city but wanted to avoid the inevitable noise at... More

Four of us stayed at Egans for one night on December 15th as we were over for the Tottenham match with Shamrock Rovers. The room was big enough with very comfortable beds. Prior to the trip I had emailed Egans asking for various information which they responded quickly to and were very helpful. On the morning of departure we had... More

Stayed there recently. The room was cramped. There was a smell like dirty socks smell around entrance area to the room. The room smelled as if somebody had just used the toilet. The room was not well insulated i.e. you could hear the conversations in the adjacent room and noise when other toilets flushed. The room was very cramped and... More

This complaint barlery justify a reply for three reasons. 1. You stayed for two days and did not complain once to reception about anything. If you had done so, we could have offered you a change of room or even a full refund. 2. You could have asked to cancel the second day and we would have been happy to... More

Egans house was truly a home away from home. As a family of two adults and four children it's often difficult to find appropriate accommodation. Here we were all able to sleep in the same room, it was spacious and very comfortable. There was a lovely seating area down stairs with tv, board games, tea/coffee machine, internet access, where we... More
