The hotel was very well located, we were in the overspill hotel opposite, which was modern, clean and comfortable...no bath and electric shower in our room, but all fine. Tea making facilities minimal (v little milk, for example), but all fine. Main complInt was the breakfast in George's Restaurant attached to hotel. Nice service but cold coffee, and all breakfast... The Trinity Lodge Hotel is a nice historic hotel right in the heart of Dublin. It's on a quiet street close to everything you would want to see as a tourist. Please remember this is a historic building with no elevators. However, my room was large and quiet. Breakfast was good albeit a little confusing on the price. Just tell... More

We arrived late on a Saturday night when check-in closed at 9.30pm, but the receptionist stayed on longer to greet us. Our room was much bigger than we expected from a guesthouse! We found the hotel on tripadvisor and the reviews were great - for a reason! We didn't really have time to eat our breakfast but the food looked... More

We booked in at Trinity lodge for a night of leisure after a business trip on the recommendation of a friend. And how glad we were! The room was HUGE and the beds comfy, the bathroom excellently appointed and spacious, flat screen TV, drinks facilities, large desk. The staff at reception were delightful and helpful and the value for money... More

We stayed at Trinity Lodge for an overnight visit to Dublin. After looking at many hotels I was concerned about potential noise in the night. Trinity Lodge was quiet and positioned off main thorough-fairs but excellently positioned for Temple Bar and Grafton Street. We found the reception staff very helpful so don't know who other reviewers were served by. This... More

Five minutes' walk to Grafton Street, eight to Trinity College's gate and a bit longer to Temple Bar, Trinity Lodge offers an unbeatable location: and in obnoxiously noisy Dublin, it is on a genuinely quiet street. Also, staying in a Dublin Georgian town house--the Lodge is fitted into two of these--offers an up-close experience of great historic domestic architecture. These... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to write about your experience at Trinity Lodge. Our rates are around the average room rates in Dublin City Center. Depending where you have stayed in Ireland, the hotels in the country side are cheaper then in the capital. Considering our location in the heart of Dublin and level of comfort we... More

While the rooms were adequate and location was great, the Lodge is considerably over-priced. Our daily cost was twice any other facility we used during our 2 week visit in Ireland. The woman in reception was not helpful and quite curt and did not appear to be familiar with restaurants and pubs nearby. Not having someone in reception for 24... More

Do not stay at this hotel. Although it is centrally located, the sub-standard rooms are not worth the convenience. Our flight was arriving at 5:30 a.m. on Sept. 2nd. Therefore, we made reservations starting on Sept. 1st. Although the staff had been notified of our A.M. check-in time, we waited outside in the rain and on the steps for one... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review. I would like to make some comments regarding its content. - The receptionist was already waiting from you from 5 am as we were aware from your reservation about your early arrival. -I do not believe that is fair to call our Classic Double Rooms sub-standard as they are spacious as per the... Can not beat the location. Super easy walk to Grafton St, Temple Bar and Trinity College, but still far enough to be really quiet at night. The breakfast is really good. Stayed in two diferent rooms while I was there. The deluxe double was really really nice and super big. The standard single was pretty small and lacked the same... More

I booked to stay at this hotel on a Saturday night with my husband and 2 children aged 2 and 5. We arrived at lunch time in Dublin and went straight there to be told that our family room had been double booked and we had no where to stay that night. It was raining and a rugby match was... More

-The issue was due to an overbooking which happens very rarely in our hotel and was a genuine mistake. However a lot of hotels are in the same position as in general many hotels have a practice in this regard in case of cancellation. We do not have this policy in place. -The guest was booked in a 5 star... More
