Excellent location, near to everything. Clean warm and comfortable rooms, dated decor but that adds to the character of this hotel. Staff were friendly. No complaints whatsoever about this hotel. The only thing I missed was a hairdryer in the room which would have been nice. But the room had a bath which was a treat! Especially after running 10k.

We stayed 5 nights at Mercantile and it was great. Friendly staff, tidy rooms right in the city center. The hotel is situated in the Temple bar area with lots of bars, restaurants around. It's within walking distance of many of the main attractions in Dublin. I surely recommend.
