Besides the fact that this is in a beautiful part of the city, the Shelbourne had possibly the nicest and most helpful staff I have ever encountered. From the front desk clerk to the bar tenders, everyone was nice, helpful and genuinely interested in us. The rooms were standard. The restaurant was very good for breakfast.
