Stayed in the Heather cottage, great location and good size rooms able to take our party of 4 adults and 4 toddlers. Great to have cots and highchairs available and plenty of room for the kids to run about. However stay spoilt by fridge that did not work, two bathrooms that leaked, an old TV that had rubbish reception, with... More

We chose to have our family reunion (members arriving from two continents) in Dublin this year for the St. Patrick's Day festivities. Our group consisted of six adults, two teen-agers and three babies and so we researched accommodation that would provide a comfortable ambiance and a space big enough to experience quality family time together. Four hotel rooms in the... More

I was really surprised to read a negative review - not sure which cotttage it referred to, but can only say that we have stayed twice and have nothing but positive things to say. Chris and Val Keogh bent over backwards to weclome us providing lots of good local information on such subjects as riding for the children etc. We... More

It is a nice cottage located in the country, very quiet and with beatiful views, and very close to Dublin by car (you need a car to move: there is no public transport). The cottage is clean and with plenty of space, and with a lovely chimeny you can use to set fire. Everithing was working fine, and the owner... More

Only 5 minutes from the outskirts of Dublin and yet in a peaceful, beautiful hill top location. The cottages are great, we know because we have tried them all over the years. Chris and Valerie are great hosts. They are relaxed and available. As with all self catering cottages, each is benefitting from a planned refurbishment. Heather Cottage, where we... More

I will begin by saying the location of these cottages is ideal if you want to feel like you are in the country but just a stone's throw from Dublin. It was the perfect balance for a family, some of whom wanted to play and hike outside and others who wanted to tour the city. The cottage itself left a... More

Dublin Farm Cottages also known as Heather Cottage, Stepaside and Tibradden Farm Cottages. Very remote location down narrow farm lanes. Overall cottage was shabby and not chic. Location was lovely but cottage accommodation very disappointing. It is very tired looking, felt neglected and needs modernising. It was not clean - had to remove old food from the dishwasher and toaster.... More

We stayed at Tibbraden Farm Cottages for 1 week mid March. We rented Heather Cottage and in our party were 6 adults, 1 child and 1 baby. The cottage is great and very well equipt, fabulous location, amazing views across Dublin and perfect retreat after a busy day in the city. We celebrated a family birthday during our stay and... Stunning view from the side of the mountains over Dublin and out to the sea. Was really quiet and peaceful with the Dublin Mountain Way literally branching off from the drive and going up above the cottages. Very helpful and friendly, 6 of us had a great time here. 20 mins down the road from Johnny Foxes Pub and close... More
