We were in Dublin for a couple of days to visit our youngest and to start out tour of Ireland. Adare House provided an excellent base from which to explore Dublin. Patrick and Catherine were welcoming hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. They were happy to hold our bags while we we spent our last day in Dublin and organised... More

Spent a few days with my wife at Adare recently and we really liked the place: It was nice & clean, the king size bed was very comfortable, and we slept well. Patrick and Catherine were very knowledgeable on local places to eat (several places offer 'early bird' 3 courses for around 20 euro). The tea making facilities (normally in... More

I had to spend two weeks in the Adare B&B and I really felt at home there. My room was so clean and comfortable, also the area was really safe and quiet, just 15-20 minutes walk from the City Center, nearby Herbert Park. I loved the warm breakfast room, where I could enjoyed a big breakfast every morning. But for... More

We took my parents to Ireland for 10 days. The last 2 nights were spent at the Adare Bed and Breakfast. Patrick, expecting us, met us upon our arrival and ushered us to our nicely furnished rooms. The beds were made up with luxurious linens and welcomed us after long days of travel and sightseeing. The breakfasts were made to... More

I feel very lucky to have found Adare b & b. I have stayed here twice and recommend it to anyone who wants to be close to the city but likes to be in a quieter neighbourhood. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. The food is very good. Access to the city by foot is definitely do-able.... More

A wonderful B & B on a quiet street near the City Center. If you’re comfortable using public transit to get to downtown Dublin (I’m not) there is a bus stop just a block away or you can catch a ‘Hop-on, Hop-off’ bus at St. Stephens Green. The hosts are very friendly and helpful but they will tell you it’s... More

The House and the rooms were very nice. The furnishing was antique but stylish. It was close to a bus stop to the city (15 minutes bus drive). The area was a better neighbourhood. The breakfast was good. The owners were helpful. She recommend us a pub tour which we enjoyed. He gave us good information what to do in... More

Adare House provides excellent food and accommodation, and is situated in an impressively elegant and relaxing part of Dublin which give easy access to the city centre. Nevertheless, the friendly, helpful and considerate attention which Catherine and Patrick Foy give their guests is arguably what makes Adare House so outstanding. More

We really enjoyed our stay at the Adare Bed and Breakfast and would definitely stay there again. What I liked most about the hosts is that they are very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Additionally, the breakfast room is beautiful, clean, and comfortable to have a leisurely breakfast before you start your day of touring. For some folks, the 15 minute... More

We enjoyed our stay at the AdareHouse. The location is very quiet but was not so easy to find at first. The triple room was very spacious, nice and clean, the double room rather small. We loved the wide choice of breakfast from Irish to Continental. Our hosts were extremly friendly and helpful. We could well imagine to stay there... More
