Recently my wife, son and I had the opportunity to spend a quick few days in Dublin city. We decided to stay with Margret & Charlie at Loyola in an area called Phibsboro which is not too far at all from downtown Dublin City Centre. Comfortable rooms and a great traditional Irish breakfast served in the morning. All in all... More

After reading the one awful review for this place, I was a little nervous about the choice I had made, but my fears were quickly relieved once we arrived. Loyola is in a lovely old Victorian house on a quiet street north of the city center. As soon as we walked in the door, we were offered a cup of... More

I had the good fortune choose Loyola by accident, I got lost while looking for overnight accomodation and ended up at Loyola. The welcome was warm, the place was spotless, a home from home, food good, what more could one want. Well done Margaret and thank you.

I stay at his B&B on and off, when visiting the city. Always when I stay I find the accommodation warm, clean and comfortable. Margaret and Charley are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Breakfast is always good!! I can highly reccommend a stay at this establishment and I am sure will not be disappointed!!

Being impressed by the standards of 2 other B & B's we experienced in Ireland, We thought we were getting into a nice, Victorian setting. It was recommended to us by another American Friend who visited a year earlier. From the time we entered, The Loyola did not present us as a 'clean' operation. There was no signage in front... More

We had the pleasure of staying a night at this B & B on 23 May 2009. The accommodation was very cosy, comfortable, clean and the operators friendly and helpful. What more could you ask for? Breakfast was a communal affair sitting around the large family dining table. Our fellow guests were German and an interesting time was spent trying... More
