It is not so more expensive than a double room in an hostel, so maybe it's better, due to the high costs of Dublin. The building is nice and it's located close to the center, 10 min walking to Temple Bar. The pub is nice and the food is good, but we didn't try the breakfast (not included). Maybe the... More

Staff were wonderful, rooms clean and modern, and great location. Can't fault it! Although I was on a business trip, I would come back with friends. The room I was in was massive, and would comfortably fit 3 people. About a 10 minute walk to Grafton street. I highly recommend. More

Came for a weekend. We were greeted with friendly staff, who were helpful. The rooms were very nice, simple, clean and had everything you needed. The pub downstairs was good value and the food was nice. Overall a very pleasant visit. More

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Lombard. We did not realize when we booked it that it was above the Lombard Pub, so it was a bit of a surprise to walk into the pub to check in. Staying above the pub was not a problem in any way, and was actually quite convenient for a night... More

We stayed for one night. The room was very nice, modern and comfortable. Breakfast was so-so, id go elsewhere for it if we stayed again. No noise issues whatsoever, may be an issue if you aren't used to living in cities. Would definitely stay again. More

My wife and I stayed here for nearly a week when we first arrived to Dublin to study for a year as we were finding an apartment. Staff was friendly food was quite good, wifi was stable (in the pub) not rooms. Room was clean and kept so the whole time. But a brief warning this is a townhouse NOT... More

I read the reviews on tripadvisor before the arrival so I was aware of the issues some of the peole had in the past, like dirty towels, that was worrying me, BUT when we were there the towels were nice and clean and the staff were friendly and helpful, providing an iron when we asked. These room are styled like... More

Stayed here for long weekend, was perfect. City in walking distance, friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms, good pubfood. No five star hotel, but a very Cosy townhouse. I'll be back. More

Just back from my second visit to the Lombard, its great place to base yourself. Most places of interest are within easy walking. I travelled with my friend, his first time in Dublin and he loved it. We stayed in room four on the first floor, no issues with the room at all. It was spotlessly clean on arrival and... More

Our room was fine though the outside street noise, both traffic and people, caused problems with sleeping. We had dirty towels in our room when we arrived which were replaced pretty quickly. The shower head was very touchy and difficult to control. The most disappointing thing was that we were unable to have breakfast either morning due to the late... More
