A beautiful location overlooking the Donegal Bay. Marie was a lovely hostess and her house was so nice, clean and cozy. We had a beautiful walk to the City Centre and then back to the B&B for a glass of wine while enjoying the awesome view. We loved exploring the Abbey ruins and cemetery backing up to her back yard.... More

I have stayed at this B&B twice now and highly recommend it. The B&B is located right on the lake which is lovely and peaceful--a beautiful sight while eating breakfast. The owner is very warm and welcoming and she has an artistic touch which can be seen in the lovely decor of the home. Donegal Town is a short 5-minute... More

A fine looking house. The front lawn goes down directly to the waterfront of Donegal bay. Unbelievable scenery right on the front door! At the back you glimpse the ruins of an ancient abbey. We came by car, so parking was essential, nevertheless, location was quite central and within easy reach of town. The whole house and the bedrooms tastefully... More

"No bother" is a phrase you will hear a lot of in this small gem of a hotel. The staff are excellent, the rooms are very comfortable, and the food is sumptuous. The dining room overlooks the waters edge, so for breakfast and dinner you can take in the beautiful seascape, as you sit back and relax.Wonderful.

Stayed one night here. Marie, the owner is very friendly and runs a stylish modern place. Access to complimentary tea and coffee. Only 5 mins walk to town centre. Location is exceptional - view of Donegal bay to the front and the ruins of the town's abbey behind the property.

The Best B&B on our trip! Our hostess, Marie was so pleasant and her B&B is beautiful. Rooms are very tastefully decorated, very clean and modern. The location was perfect, a 5 minute walk to town and situated on the Bay. We had a beautiful view of the bay from our room! I highly recommend the Waters Edge.

Stayed here in August, 2010 and found it to be a beautiful modern B&B with a terrific owner - Maria. The rooms are all newly decorated, clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast in the lovely breakfast room was fantastic - a fruit plate that should appear in a culinary magazine. This B&B is a short distance from the town but far... More
