Stayed for one night and I cannot fault it,, when I entered the room the sheer cleanliness and fresh smell was outstanding,, it was very clean and the room was comfortable. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful, the price was very reasonable and thought it was better than premier inn... I didn't eat dinner I did have breakfast and... More

Came here for two nights on a business trip and the hotel was very accommodating in allowing me an early check in. The location is good, less than ten minutes walk to the town centre and rooms at the back overlook the cathedral. My issue with Lancaster Lodge is that they advertise it as a boutique hotel with de luxe... More

I went to Cork City last July and the Lancaster Lodge is where I fortunately got a place to stay one day after my arrival and a horrible experience at a Guest House across the street. The receptionist whom I spoke with was a very nice lady and her warmth and kindness was a relief after what I went through.... More

Dear rosanebroadway, Thank you for your recent review of Lancaster Lodge. I am pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us and particularly the warm welcome! I have passed your nice comments about the cleanliness of your room to the housekeeping team and also that fact that you enjoyed your breakfast to the kitchen team. It is always encouraging to... Myself and my husband stayed there this weekend, it was great value for money, excellent staff so nice and friendly. Our room was huge and spotless I could not say anything bad.The breakfast was devine, I am a very fussy eater, so close to the city centre with free parking and check out at 1.30 what can i say it... Stayed two nights in Cork and the Lancaster Lodge was the perfect location from which to do all our sightseeing. Staff was extremely helpful with sightseeing ideas and booking taxis. While the outside of the hotel looks like a Howard Johnson, the rooms were modern, clean and comfortable. Ours had a view of St Finnbars Cathedral which was very nice... More

I stayed here with three friends for two nights a Friday and Saturday. The hotel is like a boutique hotel and large guest house. We had two bedrooms with a single and double in each room. They were located beside each other which was a big plus because I have often booked rooms in other hotels and the rooms are... More

Lancaster Lodge is my favourite hotel to stay in when in Cork on business. It's location is ideal with free parking and a 5 minute walk to the City Centre. I've used it more than once and will do so again. It is clean and convenient. I recently had an issue where I needed to adjust a booking made through... More

One night in Cork, stayed at the Lancaster Lodge because of the free parking, but it has lots more to recommend it than just that. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, the rooms are spotless, great bathroom, and they serve an excellent value breakfast. All within an easy walk to the heart of the city. Great!

This hotel has lots of plus points. It is not too expensive, staff were friendly, there is free car parking, the rooms are spacious and tidy and the breakfast is outstanding. Things that could be improved are that the tv in the room is very small (but then who goes to a hotel to watch tv) and it would have... More

As a budget hotel, the Lancaster lodge is great value. Lovely rooms in a great location- the only downside for business travellers is that there is no restaurant for Lunch or dinner. However, there are lots of great places to eat nearby.
