I have been there before, it is very good, and better than before. Very friendly staff there and a lovely dog.

Paper thin walls - very tricky shower - either scalding or freezing, hairdryer doesn't work - everything very old and tired. Breakfast very average - luckily we weren't ripped off price-wise - as soon as they think you are a tourist an extra 10 euro is added on. The caged angry dog (spaniel) in the back was most disturbing.

Stayed here in June with husband. Found it a great location for exploring the city and surrounding Cork areas. Stayed a weekend in this Bed and Breakfast, Found the owner a great character, with a warm welcome. Excellent accomadation and substantial breakfast. Parking at the rear which is essential in Cork and very close to the City Centre.
