My father and I had a very pleasant stay on our visit to Ireland. Gertie was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The house was beautiful, as are the gardens! Rooms were clean and comfortable. Great breakfast to top it all off!

This B&B was very comfortable with beautiful gardens. It was close to Blarney Castle and the Woolen Mills Store. We just returned from a week's trip across the west and southwest of Ireland. Although all our bed and breakfast hosts were welcoming and gracious, Gertie at Travelers Joy was by far the best. If you plan on seeing the sights in the Cork City area, Travelers Joy is the place to stay. I cannot recommend it enough.
