Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

apart from being very convenient for Prestwick airport early flights, Prestwick itself is a nice place to visit and Alison is very kind person to deal with.

Clean and tidy, very efficinetly run, and - crucially - it really is 10 minutes walk to the airport, which is great for an early flight. Loved the pre-prepared breakfast also (and the local Indian fish n'chip shop)!

Highly recommended.

the GuestHouse is only half a mile from the airport.
our flight landed late in the evening, the owner, very helpfully, left the room key outside the door asking to leave the money in the room the day after.
all needed for breakfast is provided in the room (fruti, cereals, cold milk, yogurt, tea) that is a brilliant and cheap solution.

We booked a room at this guesthouse because our flight landed very late, and it was a very convenient stay. It's funny that we didn't meet anyboday and yet felt perfectly welcome. We received via e-mail the code for opening the door and instructions to our room - which was very spacious and comfortable. A sober continental breakfast was already in our room as well as our payment receipt.. You can walk to Prestwick Airport in just about ten minutes.

We stayed here night before a very early flight from Prestwick airport. You can walk right up to airport. Enjoyed the town as well. Next time I am in Glasgow, I'll stay here rather than in city. It's an easy train ride if you want to get to the city (train also within walking distance), and right next to Royal Pretwick and Royal Troon. Highly recommended.

Stayed in a family room for 3 prior to our flight from the Prestwick airport. Our room had a double and twin bed. Very clean and updated.
You can even walk to the Prestwick airport in about 10 minutes.
Breakfast is in your room when you check in, basket with cereal, crackers, fruit. The refrigerator had milk, water bottles, yogurt, cheese and juice. Didn't miss the hot breakfast and it was nice prior to our early morning flight.
Location was easy to walk into town for restaurants.

Very welcoming hosts and a clean comfortable room.
A continental breakfast in the room, ideal for us as we left at 4.30am for the close-by Prestwick airport

Catching an early morning flight from Prestwick airport, especially on a Sunday is a daunting task. The location of the airport called ‘Glasgow Prestwick’ by Ryanair is misleading, its nowhere near Glasgow so for me, it’s a long drive far too early in the morning. I’ve done it before and it’s grim having to get up in the middle of the night. So we stayed the night before at the Prestwick B&B which is literally a ten minute walk from the airport.
The B&B rate was £55 for the night, a bit on the high side for this time of the year but they allowed me to park my car there for the 5 days away for free, so I saved on car parking which would have been about £40 anyway.
The rooms are spotless, large, the bed(s) big and the furnishings modern. It was also warm and comfortable (-3c outside) There is no dining room to the best of my knowledge and the breakfast food and drink is a good selection of stuff laid out on a tray in your room. Plenty there and there is a small fridge and microwave if you want to heat /cool anything.

All in all a better experience than driving down early morning to Prestwick, parking the car and catching the flight only half awake. If there is any downside, even a ten minute walk to the airport would not pleasant in the rain. It was dry that morning but would have taken a taxi had it been wet.

Would stay there again.

Great room and lovely bathroom, very clean and no smelly carpet!.
Central location and easy walking distance to Prestwick town centre and lovely beach.
Petra and the kids all had fun and enjoyed the stay, Kenny and Alison are very friendly and helpful.
We have already booked our August holiday there again and cant wait for the legendary late Summer West Coast sunsets over Arran!
