Fanatastic hotel, staff and chef really helpful and friendly and food is excellent, rooms lovely, we stayed here when we cycled from Carlisle to Glasgow. Also, we left a map and some cycling glasses here by accident and by the time we arrived back home, the hotel had already forwarded the things back to us. Would highly recommended this hotel. more

We had a 2 night stay at the Abbotsford Hotel with another 4 friends. Our rooms were spacious, bright and very comfortable. The hotel has a wonderful friendly atmosphere and we all felt very at ease.
