I only have one criticism and that's the bedroom was small.The staff were lovely,the place was spotless.The waitresses were really friendly and quick.Breakfast was superb.The fact that it was far enough but not to far from the centre was a plus.the restaurant is superb. More

We stayed their late october and found the hotel to be welcoming and warm. The rooms were what you would expect from a four star apart from the bed's being huge. We ate in Browns restaurant witch is part of the hotel, the food was brilliant and resonably priced. All in all a very enjoyable stay. More

If you're in the area don't miss this hotel. Modern, clean lines. Excellent rooms. Friendly and attentive staff who are also professional and efficient. Food in the restaurant is straight forward but with cooking of a very high standard it's a pleasure. We'll definitely be back. More

Just returned from 3 night stay in this fantastic hotel. Beautiful decor, fantastic food and staff who could not do enough for us. Great disabled room for parents in their eighties and lovely family room for us. Ate in the hotel every night. Huge portions! More

We only stayed here one night and weren't expecting anything special but the restaurant meal that night certainly was. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms on the small side but clean and comfortable. A bit of a walk from the train station but worth it. More

Don't be put off by the dreadful Google Maps Street-view images, the Nevis Bank Inn. Thankfully, it has metamorphosed from the boarded up image on Google to a fabulously renovated hotel/inn under new ownership, with clean, well-appointed rooms and a great restaurant serving top-quality food.
