A real gem, don't be mistake the Roy Bridge Hotel in the same village for the Stronlossit, they are poles apart. The Stronlossit hotel, and its owner Maurice provide a warm welcome, good food, fine ales and the obligatory scotch, including some Japanese rarities! Tripadvisor lists this as Fort William (which it's not, thank goodnes). Roy Bridge is out in... More

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights on our way to Inverness. Must admit we are a bit perplexed by the reviews on Trip Advisor as they seem to be mainly 5 star or 1 star - not much in between. We had a lovely stay and found the proprietors very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is... More

This hotel was actually awful. Not only were the staff completely and utterly rude and unhelpful (apart from the older ladt waitressing and the french worker they had in), and even made a fuss about the fact that we wanted an extra pillow! The food was horrendous, seriously stuff i wouldn't even feed my dogs as it was all simply... More

After reading most reviews, I was very worried about this hotel. We booked it as a package, along with other hotels on our roundtrip in Scotland, so we had no choice in the matter. Boy, was I relieved when we arrived and the owners, Maurice and Sandra, turned out to be very friendly and helpful. I really don't understand all... More

Unfortunately, I had a nose to nose row with the owner of this hotel after we chose to check out after the first night. The room was not up to standard and we chose to leave after one night rather than stay for the full 6 that we had booked. The owner insisted he would charge us the full 6... More

We were staying at nearby Bunroy Park so this was a handy haunt for us. We ate here twice the Menu is a bit pricey for what you get at £16.50 for an 8oz Sirloin steak it is a bit steep, but it was cooked & presented well. On our second visit I opted for the Lasagne & was very... More

Found a room on a separate website and thought it looked a lovely place to base ourselves for the 4 days here and I have been completely blown away! Although the room is rather small for the price, I feel that everything else has more than made up for it! On our first night we decided to try the restaurant... More

We stayed there for one night and that was too much. The management were very rude. The manner in which they treat the guest was very disrespectful and impatient.one of The waiters was very rude and use a bad language in an east european language not knowing that I understood the language. We do not recommend this place even to... More

This hotel is VERY over priced for what you get. Hotel staff were not friendly and we were quite rudely scooted out after breakfast, having the staff hover over us and taking each plate as soon as we put a fork down. Were also charge £50 extra without notice for curtains that supposedly needed to be ironed after we had... More

I thought my comments would not be believed about this place but having now seen the other disappointment customers I'm part of a collective! 1) Bath was dirty and mouldy 2) Breakfast came swimming in grease, without grilled tomato. When I asked for it the waiter stated they ran out and walked away, just like that. Table covered in sticky... More
