Battered and blasted by the rigors of the West Highland Way two travelers turned up (unexpectedly) at the door... to be welcomed into a smart, tidy, clean home (despite the bedraggled state of us). Marie was friendly and thoughtful - offering to dry our boots and even providing wine glasses when she spied our celebratory bottle poking out of my... More

Well worth negotiating the steps down to this hillside B&B looking out over Loch Linnhe from the dedicated parking area, yet only minutes walk from the town centre with its shops and places to eat and drink. We could not fault the service or the excellent breakfast (with Travis the talking and whistling parrot for company). And then there was... More

I only stayed here one night but was very satisifed with my stay. Anne was very hospitable and friendly. My room was very clean and tidy, the only problem was the bathroom was quite tiny-so if you have long legs expect to sit on the toilet sideways! However, this did not detract from what was a lovely stay, it is... More

Easily booked from Australia with no deposit required - all done on trust. Pleasant, welcoming and attentive - Mrs Russell (landlady) who also provides a good breakfast to set you up for the day. The guesthouse is tucked away, half way up a hillside and steep steps (either up or down) have to be negotiated in order to access the... More

I stayed for a week at the end of June and found the B&B to be clean and tidy with all the facilities I needed. The landlady was lovely and couldn't be more helpful, she even tided and folded the clothes that I had left on the seats in my rush. Breakfast was good and tasty. If anyone has never... More

Home from home. Lovely room, well appointed and tastefully decorated. We thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay which was helped by the friendliness and recommendations of the host. Breakfast was good. Yes there are steep steps down from the parking, however we didn't find this an issue at all. As for the house smelling of smoke we thought that it smelt... More

Landlady was friendly enough, double room was clean but not up to standard of tourist website photos and bed too soft at edges Should have mentioned that parking the car in space provided meant coming down a lot of steps then another set up to door, or from public car park again a lot of steps - not good if... Fantastic accomodation with superb views from decking. 1st class breakfast and excellent hospitality shown by owners. Certainly no smell of smoke that was stated in a review i read on the website. Would certainly recommend for a thoroughly good stay in an excellent location with superb hosts.
