Quite often when you stay at a B and B you feel as though you are invading the owner's personal space, by living in their house and sharing their home. This is not at all the case at Braeside in Fort Williams. The owners welcomed us into their homes with open arms and we never felt uncomfortable or as if... More

Thank you for the lovely comments. Paul and I are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay. As travelers ourselves we know how important it is to have an enjoyable time, as you save up all year round with anticipated excitement & it is always such a disappointment if when you get there it is not what you expected. Looking... More

We stayed at Braeside House on Hogmany & New Years Day and had a very pleasant stay. The house itself was beautiful and the lounge was very homely. The bedroom was lovely and fresh, and we had a couple of Whiskey miniatures on arrival, to bring in the bells with. The hosts, Paul & Aileen were extremely welcoming, and couldnt... More

My wife Lynn and I stayed at Braeside House over Hogmanay, arriving on 28 Dec and Leaving on 2 Jan. When we arrived (a little earlier than planned), Paul was there to welcome us and show us to Room 2. This room is located at the front of the B&B, and has fantastic views over Loch Linhe. In addition to... More

John & Lynn, Thank you for your lovely comments and I am so pleased that you enjoyed your New Years break. It is just as enjoyable for us when we have lovely guests like yourselves, and it's always lovely to see a man in a kilt. I know the rain was awful during your stay and you didnt get to... More

Having made the long trip up from Newcastle all the way to Fort William in the rain, we were pleasantly welcomed ahead of the stated check in time.... Paul & Aileen made us feel instantly welcome & provided us with a wealth of information to make our trip all the more enjoyable.... From highlighting the pubs & restaurants, to directions... More

Aileen and Paul made us very welcome in their home. The room was comfortable, the breakfast outstanding and the location is excellent, with views over the Loch at breakfast and an easy walk to the centre of Fort William. More

Dear Paul & Aileen I'm writing to express three Norwegians heartfelt gratitude. We stayed at your place from 4th to 5th of October. When we arrived we were a bit confused and cold, but the moment we entered your wonderful house the atmosphere and your genuine hospitality made us feel calm and at ease, and in front of the fireplace... We stayed at Braeside House during a week long tour of Scotland. Paul and Aileen were very welcoming and even invited our Boxer dog to spend the night in their living room. The Family room we stayed in was very clean and comfortable. It was a 10 minute walk into town where there were plenty of places to eat, then... More

We had a very nice stay in your b&b. Thank you. We loved the room with the excellent view to the waterside and of cours the two owners, friendly and helpful for making plans and give advises for our next days in the highlands. Not to forget the splendid breakfast room where the lady of the house prepared such a... More

We stayed for one night between train journeys, and were made very welcome by Aileen and Paul. The B&B is a comfortable walk from the station - just remember to take a breather at the top of the steps. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and it was lovely relaxing in the evening in the lounge in front of... More

This B & B was what we were looking for. The Accomodation was lovely and just 5 min walk from the towncenter. It was very clean with en suite bathroom, car parking, breakfast was perfect. In one word: AWESOME. Paul and Aileen are a gently and nice couple. We've had a very familiar time there. We got usefull tips from... More
