Beautiful, immaculate rooms; friendly and helpful owners; good location; great breakfast; solid value. Couldn't ask for more from a B&B! (Tip: for a meal or a drink, you can't beat The Castle Tavern, as recommended by the lovely owners at Lynver.)

We booked Lynver as a stop in Inverness as a part of our Scotland tour on our honeymoon and it was by far the best accommodation we had in our 9 day trip. Brian greeted us warmly and quickly showed us to our room and gave us a rundown of the amenities and gave us a recommendation for dinner that... More

This was my second trip to Inverness, unfortunately more than ten years since my last. However I was there for only two days and wanted to show my partner some decent Scottish hospitality and charm. I couldn't have dreamt of a better place than Lynver. I had some issues with my online booking, and having already left from Edinburgh, I... More

This was our second visit to the Lynver and is delightful. You get the warmest of welcomes from Michelle and Brian and they even recognised us from our 1st visit a few years ago, and considering the number of people they must meet this was very nice. Our room was amazing, large, and had been fully refurbished since our previous... More

Very friendly and welcoming hosts, ideal location for Inverness town centre and to visit the Highlands. Lovely modern spacious rooms and delicious breakfast. Will definitely return here, highly recommended.

Wow, what a super B&B! The bedrooms are large with seating and a desk, the furnishings and decorating are all finished to an extremely high standard and everything is spotless. There is also a fridge in each bedroom which is really useful, together with a wide range of goodies on the tea tray and in the bathroom. There is an... More

My mother & father in law have stayed at the Lynver before and were very impressed, so we thought we would give it a go too. It is one of the friendliest places I have ever stayed and we were made feel very welcome from the moment they opened the door. The room was very modern and comfortable, it also... More

My girlfriend and I stayed at Lynver on our way up through Scotland. A two night stop over to see the polar bears in the nearby wildlife park. Seeing nearly 200 almost perfect reviews on Trip Advisor almost worried us that it was too good to be true but I can assure you that the place more than lived up... More

Our second, and certainly not our last visit here. Michelle and Brian are unbelievably welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are very tastefully decorated and absolutely spotless. Enormous bed, separate seating, tv/dvd and modern, clean bathroom with a great powershower. Little touches make the difference, WiFi, morning papers, fresh flowers, a selection of DVDs for guests to borrow... More

This is an excellent choice if you are looking for a nice B & B that is clean, convenient, and has a great breakfast. Michelle was a wonderful hostess providing us with suggestions of good places to eat. For breakfast she fixed homemade porridge that she let cook all night....wow, delicious! I would definitely stay there again if we go... More
