Really convenient location on the River, makes for some very nice views too. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating, always keen to give advice on what to do and where to go. Basic, clean rooms at a fairly reasonable price. I would definitely recommend. More

We stayed here for one night, guest house was very quiet and in the process of being refurbished!!No stair carpet.Rooms were basic but good value for money, nice breakfast but a little early if your on a break away last sitting 9 am.Beautiful views on the banks of the River Ness. More

The Strathness is right on the river, beside the cathedral. It is a smallish guest house in the process of being renovated. The couple who own it are lovely and friendly. The rooms are quite small but well-appointed with good bathrooms. The breakfast was really good, freshly cooked. Handy for the town centre, and very close to Eden Court Theatre. More

The place has a nice location as a beautiful view of the loch and castle, the welcome was good but nothing to write home about.
