Everything you could ask for from a youth hostel. Rooms were bunks with shared facilities, but everything was clean and in working order. Well equipped kitchen for self-catering, but they also provide a restaurant service for breakfast/dinner and packed lunches if desired. Lovely stay at this hostel! ROOMS - Standard SYHA set up, bunkbeds, clean linnen provided, comfy, warm TOILETS/SHOWERS - good, clean - not the strongest shower in the weld but fine! STAFF - GREAT!!!!! - very friendly, welcoming, helpful, polite! - 5* KITCHEN - excellent cooking facilities - everything we needed - very clean!!!! LOCATION - right on loch morlich!!... More

The Hostel is quite basic, but extremely clean and well-run, with friendly and helpful staff. Excellent hostel, very friendly and clean. Could imagine it gets crowded at peak times but was nice and quiet when I was there. Excellent location for all outdoor activities and friendly village of Aviemore a 10 min drive away.
