We are just coming to the end of a week long stay, and have had a lovely week. We stayed in one of the Patio houses, which are really well done. Three bedrooms and be attached to the other, so good if you have young children as we have. The conservatory and private garden area is lovely too. The house... More

My husband and I went with our baby for a week in April. We stayed in the Cairngorm Lodge and it was the peaceful week we had hoped for and already planning a return visit with another family. The resort has many different lodges but I think the Cairngorm looks the biggest and its probably the only one I would... More

This is just a fifteen minute walk away from the town and the scenery is outstanding . The lodges are well equipped and are very comfortable , we used the facilities and the pool was fantastic and the pub was cosy and not to pricey .The restaurant was not used as very overpriced head into town for fantastic value for... Was concerned that our choice of a chalet for an unusually chilly march (-10 on our last night) would result in either a huge heating bill or poor quality of sleep but we were delighted with the property and how cosy it was. The chalet kitchen was well resourced and the dining/ conservatory ideal for families who enjoy eating at... More

We have just returned from a week's holiday in one of the wooden chalets as this was a timeshare exchange. Well impressed with the size of the chalets as there was only the two of us plus our dog. Views from chalet were lovely and our dog loved all the walks we took him for on and around the complex.... More

On Saturday 9th March we had a lovely meal at the Scottish Steak Club , Dalfaber. We chose a selection off the six for six menu which included cheeseburgers for our boys and gammon steaks for us. The gammons were delicious proper cuts of meat ( not re-formed) with a good serving of chips and veg to the side. The... More

£9 for a small tuna sandwich with a paltry portion of bog standard crisps and a 'seen better days' piece of lettuce. at least the lovely waitress had the decency to blush when she presented the bill ! The only good thing was my girlfriend was paying.

We have a timeshare at Lochanhully and have been desperate to get rid of it for years, but you can't give them away for nothing at the moment so as a consequence, we have swapped our week for alternative Macdonald resorts for the last years and this was our first time at one of the old wooden chalets within the... Nice for a short break - the rooms are definitely dated and could be doing with some work to tidy them up. However the main reception has a lovely pool and bar/food (did not try the food there). Nice area and if you get the weather great for walks and cycling.
