If you have ever flown with Easyjet then you have a good idea of what room looks like! The concept is a great idea;pay for any extras and eliminate those you don't need to save a penny or two. We stayed for two nights in a room with a window (!) and 24 hour internet access (£5). Perfectly happy with... More

We stayed here as we were going for a night out in Glasgow. Staff on reception when we checked in were friendly and interactive which is a pleasant change. Went up to the room which was an adequate size for our needs. The room was clean & tidy. Bed linen was clean as well. The shower room was clean &... More

This is as they describe a stripped down hotel, pretty much impossible to have a more basic room. It does have a television however to operate it you need to pay extra for the remote control lol bizarre. The ensuite is similar to one of those electric street toilets but to be honest it was fine, a shower a toilet... More

It is so true. I wasn't looking to stay somewhere nice, but arrived very late in Glasgow and had to catch a plane early in the morning. So instead of going to my usual places, I decided it was something to try out. I have stayed in these kind of "hotels" before especially in France I fond them quite often,... More

Hi Gohlah What you pay for is indeed what you get and here at easyHotel Glasgow, you paid for the basic room package (bed shower/toilet facilities) to receive the cheapest branded hotel prices in the city. Thereafter, as clearly stated on all booking sites and at check-in, you can tailor your stay to suit your needs. So yes, if you... More

My partner booked this hotel, mainly because of the price. We might be used to comfort but we are definitely not fussy travellers. On arrival, and like the website informs, this is a strip down hotel, where you get the basics and any extras you have to pay. We loved the ensuite thinking it was a brilliant idea and use... More

Booked a room for a night out in Bath Street which is 2min away. We booked as cheaper than a taxi home and ideal location for our night out. Staff were friendly and helpful on arrival and checkout. Room is basic but if expecting more than that from a budget hotel in city centre then you're kidding yourself. The beds... More

Stayed for night when attending a concert at SECC, location excellent for transport links and shopping. Hotel itself was basic but clean, staff welcoming. Hiring of equipment like remote control very overpriced good job I wasn't spending much time in the room as I would not have paid 35 to hire control. Very noisy overnight other guest knocking on door... More

Stayed here when I was in Glasgow for a gig at the SECC. Staff on arrival and departure very friendly and helpful.Location is good, only a 10 minute walk from Queen Street Station. Room was clean and had everything I needed for a one night stay. Don't think I'd pick it for a romantic weekend or if I was staying... More

Easyhotel claims that it is a hotel, but I have stayed in better equipped hostels. Basic is an understatement. You literally get a bed, towel and a caravan toilet. I don't believe the hotel is that old, but is already showing signs of wear. Bed linen was marked and towels were clean, but still looked a bit grey and grubby.... More

Hi cf131_10 Thank you for your feedback. The easyHotel concept is indeed, as stated on all booking websites, stripped back rooms, which provides guests the cheapest branded hotel rates in the city centre. We do offer room add-ons such as TV/WIFI from our 24 hour reception, should they wish to tailor their stay to their needs. I can confirm that... More

The staff here are very good and the hotel very clean and basic. Just what it says on the website for this hotel. Only one thing though, I did stay in the accessible room on the first floor and the heating for the room is right above the bed which did make it hard to sleep when it blows in... More
