Stayed for valentine's day with an itison deal. Really couldn't fault the place, it's ideal for access to the city centre - obviously with that the views aren't great but that's not a problem for me. Very clean, very comfy bed and an excellent breakfast.

I can't fault my one-night stay here: lovely staff, clean, comfortable room - allowed me a great night's sleep recovering from a stag do that weekend! It's well located in the centre of Glasgow. (I can also recommend the nearby Station Bar if visitors want to find a friendly but traditional place for a pint or two nearby). Cooked breakfast... More

My mum & I stayed here with an itison deal. We stayed for one night and the welcome could not have been warmer - we arrived at 11am and were told that the rooms weren't quite ready yet (not that we had expected them to be - we were only going to leave our luggage) but offered a tea or... More

We stayed for one night and the welcome could not have been warmer. Our room was clean and had all of the facilities and toiletries required. (For one night you do not want to carry lots of shampoo etc). The web site referred to the Pipe Major's breakfast and we were not disappointed in any way. There was enough food... More

My wife & I had visited the PIping centre before for wedding receptions but didn't realise that there was a hotel in the same building. We spent an overnight here recently. What a pleasant surprise! Like myself, the hotel is small but perfectly formed. Clean, modern rooms, very comfortable beds and spacious en-suite facilities. The generous "Piper's Breakfast" was perfectly... More

We had a 2 night stay over the weekend. The staff were really friendly and the rooms were clean and modern. The hotel is conveniently placed for the middle of town so once we were parked up there was no need to use the car until we were ready to depart. We had booked to dine there on arrival as... More

Great central location for shops concerts etc. helpful friendly staff made us feel welcome. Our room (7) on top floor looked down hope street to the Clyde. Traffic noise didn't have much impact. Bedroom and bathroom well appointed, clean, huge bed. Extra pillows.Tv and Internet. Good to hear the charitable status helps keep the National Piping Centre afloat. Didn,t really... More

I stayed in the piping centre last week (23rd+24th jan) for two nights. From the moment I walked up the steps, someone was on hand to take my heavy case. Was checked in by a polite member of staff who filled me in on all the happenings in Glasgow, as it was during Celtic connections and the piping centre was... More
