Booked 3 rooms (1 double/2 single) for 2 nights which was easy to do as staff were very helpful. Rooms were excellent with all required facilities; staff apologised for any inconvenience as the hotel is in the process of redecoration. We experienced no issues with this. An excellent breakfast was provided on both mornings and served by a very pleasant... More

We were invited to a wedding north of the border. The reception was being held at the Kincaid House so we got booked in. The Saturday night was 'fully booked ' for the wedding party and the bride selected who could have one of the few rooms. The Bride being my wife's cousin gave us no problem. Reception is small... We attended a wedding here and stayed overnight. On check in we were not asked for payment or provided check out times. The food was a delight I have never been so pleased with a wedding breakfast, the bar staff were polite and professional whilst remaining down to earth. The room we were allocated left a lot to be desired,... More

Had to re tune the TV every time we put it on. Booked as a couple but only had towels glass etc for one, so had to ask for more, had stayed here before, to visit daughter, if asking for a boiled egg needed to ask for a spoon to eat it with each time !!!!! Asked for coffee in... More

We were here for a function & it has a beautiful setting. An 'in the country' feel, where nothing is too much for the staff. I have to mention one particular member of staff called Ian. He was the Maitre D in the conservatory & looked after us the whole time. A great sense of humour & paid attention to... More

We had a family dinner at the hotel on Sunday night and really enjoyed the meal, the ambiance and the service. We dined with family up from London and our group included two children both of whom were catered for from the main menu with minimal fuss. The quality of food was excellent and the prices were good too; I... More

My wife booked a deluxe room on line, for a stop over night prior to going 'doon the watter'. Almost immediately Amie phoned to thank us and advise there was a wedding on that night and asked if we wanted to re-schedule. She was very pleasant and we were happy to stay. Great decision. We had a very good evening... More

We held our daughters wedding here on Saturday and all I can say is fantastic. I would recommend this hotel as the perfect wedding venue. Everything went perfect, the food was great and the wedding coordinator had everything down to a tee. The only thing that was wrong was the weather which is out of our control. The staff went... Son's 41st Birthday - 7 of us: 3 generations, 5 adults, 2 grandchildren ( 7 and 11). Sunday lunch in the Conservatory Restaurant. Everyone had a different meal chosen from the hyper-extensive menu. ALL EXCELLENT. As was the service, table, location and the runaround/sit out garden (given the ultra bright untypical Scottish March day). Highly recommend food at KH Hotel.... More

My family booked the drawing room for a private function and I can not praise the staff enough. Everything was ready when we arrived and the spread they laid on was superb. The staff were friendly and attentive and could not do enough for us. I have also eaten in the cozy bar and with the real fire blazing away... More
