Stayed only for one night, great. What we wanted wasnt a 4 or 5 star but somewhere clean, well run and great staff- Just that! This hotel/club is right in the centre of Edinburgh. While a little dated, it was good value and I would not hestitate in staying here again. More

We stayed at the royal overseas hotel for my 50th birthday. It was a perfect base for sightseeing. We were lucky enough to have the Pentland suite, it was very clean and comfortable with a wonderful view of the castle. The breakfast was exceptional with a variable choice.
