Let me start by saying thank you Nathan and Suzy...After a fairly long drive we arrived at the Inverleith and were made to feel at home immediately by the finest host/barman/Scotsman I know. Nathan was tremendous and should be commended. He has a strong grasp of attractions, directions, and is always willing to assist with travel, or dining arrangements. He... More

We stayed for one night in the four poster suite, it's a lovely room with independent acces and even it's own kitchen. We enjoyed our stay, and the breakfast was great. The staff were also very attentive and helpful. We will visit again for sure.

Thank you for kindly posting this review. Our studio four poster apt/suite does have the added facility of independent access and its own kitchen which allows a good deal of flexibility during your stay. As there is also a connecting door to the hotel reception lounge area. This means that guests can also come through to the breakfast room if... More

Lovely small hotel in a great location. Staff very accommodating and helpful (especially Nathan on the front desk and who seems to be Jack of All Trades). Lovely little bar. Very clean and well appointed ensuite rooms. Choose a 4 poster bed room for a very comfortable and sumptuous experience. Good restaurants nearby. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to friends.

Staff went out of their way at every turn. Bedroom was tiny (single) but as advertised. I didnt need more as I just used it to sleep. Only negative was wireless was down my whole visit which i was counting on for communication. Made to order breakfast and right off the bus stops. I loved the quietness of the neighborhood.

Hello, Thank you for your review. We are glad to hear you enjoyed your being in our hotel, since your stay we have spruced up many of the rooms with a spring clean and a lick of paint, we would have done this earlier however we had to wait till after winter as our paintbrushes are solar powered. Stayed at the Inverleith Hotel for a couple of nights in May with my wife. Great stay, clean, tidy, warm, cosy, great breakfast with lots of tea. Very relaxing and could not have been more helpful with any of our questions. Great customer service. Short walk to Stockbridge, buses and the city centre. We`ll be back.

We stayed in the Inverleith hotel for 10 days in the bitterest cold March in 50 years. We were there for work and I travelled more than half way around the world to be there. But we were kept warm and happy even though my partner managed to lock us out of the hotel twice and wake poor reception guy... More

It was a very cold March this year. So we whacked the heating up added blankets and burrowed in for the winter.. We are pleased that guests can treat us as a home from home during long stays and look forward to returning to the warmth of our lounge bar and perhaps enjoy a malt for extra fuel.. Not a... More

It is a while since we were at the Inverleith Hotel but the memory of a very friendly place still lingers. A stone's throw from the Botanic Gardens and in a beautiful classical building, it was our first choice and one we did not regret.

Thank you for coming back to stay with us. We are pleased you had good memories from your first stay and that on your return we enhanced this. We also enjoy working in a classical Victorian building with many period features and love it when guests appreciate this too. Older buildings do make more challenges and we are happy to... More

I was very pleased with my cosy room, it was just right for one person! The hotel has lots of character and is well situated. Nathan on reception is great - amongst other things he fixed my window so I felt safe in a ground floor room.
