Excellent hotel... Superb location on one of the Main Street of Edinburgh....all the shopping outlets on the same line... walking distance from the Royal Mile where most of the attractions are. Booked for a long weekend, initially had to change rooms as first one had strong smell of drains- room was changed quickly and no problems after that. Quiet comfortable room, good location, nice breakfast and friendly staff.

5 min walk from Waverley station. Warm welcome from all staff who were friendly, helpful and efficient. Breakfast and evening meal were lovely. Rooms were spacious, comfortable and quiet. Location is perfect. Would stay here again.

A comfortable and well positioned hotel on the main thoroughfare in Edinburgh very handy for all attractions, shops, restaurants etc. the only down side was the noise of rubbish collections and deliveries to shops in the early hours. Went to see Derren Brown at the Playhouse, looked at several hotels in area and very glad to have chosen Premier Inn. The staff were very friendly and helpful on arrival and took me through the whole signing in process. The room was in excellent condition and well furnished for an excellent price. Will book again when next in Edinburgh.
