We stayed for one night on Saturday 3rd December. The room was beautifully furnished with a lovely big bathroom and views of the grounds. The meal was delicious with excellent service throughout. We couldn't fault anything and are looking forward to returning. More

Spent one night here between Christmas & New Year. Rooms are very ornate, padded fabric walls, heavy curtains, lots of dark paintwork. Incredibly sumptuous hotel, but not remotely stuffy or formal. It really was one of the loveliest hotels I've ever stayed in. The staff were all superb too - all so friendly and welcoming. Loved the Prestonfield. Staff went out of their way to help my wife with an issue. Rooms clean and tidy. Location perfect for us. Price was higher then we wanted to pay but it was over the busy Christmas period so cant complain too much. Order the eggs for breakfast! More
