What a refreshing change to have stayed at cracking little B&B. So much attention to detail, large clean room with great en-suite bathroom. Very comfy bed. There is a massive guest lounge with TV and wood burning stove. The food is excellent with meats aquired locally and served with home grown vegatables. The breakfast was epic and cooked freshly daily.... More

We can recommend this B&B to anybody who is looking for good food, beautiful area, the warm and friendly welcome by Sue and Simon. This was the closure of a very nice holiday in Scotland. We are definetely coming back soon and then we plan to stay longer. More

Twynholm is a rustic village, so don't be put off by the approach along Arden road. It's a mess on first sight, but that's not a reflection of the B&B. Service was good and room was comfortable and spacious, but if you don't like cats this isn't for you. The cats roam around the 'guest' lounge and under the table... More

We have taken your comments on board, and our web site displays prominently that we have cats, we have always made it clear on our website that we have cats but unfortunately when it was re-vamped in the spring the information was left out. It is now back there centre stage. However we would like to point out that none... More

The food, the Fly casting instruction, and the accomodations were all excellent. Sue was very impressive with her many gifts and knowledge of cooking, spinning, fly casting. Simon'sl bread was awesome! We would recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a quiet get away and comfortable surroundings. There is no internet service available at the B&B, but hey, isnt that... All the rooms were lovely and spacious, beautifully decorated, and there was a very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere throughout my whole stay. Bed very comfortable and I slept well (not always the case for me when away from home!). Lovely views from the lounge windows and we were free to wander round the attractive and productive garden which provided some... More

What a great weekend all my expectations fulfilled. Sue and Simon are great hosts, the food is excellent either local produce or home grown, cooked and prepared fresh. Sue is an advanced fly fishing instructor and that was my main purpose for being there. The 4 nights spent there with my two adult sons was to teach them to fly... More

We received a very warm welcome with afternoon tea & cakes provided. Our bedroom and ensuite were about the largest & best equipped that we have ever come across in a B&B. There is an excellent sitting/dining room for guests sole use with TV books & magazines to hand. Excellent breakfast menu choices are provided & you must try at least... More

Pleasant hosts, comfortable en-suite room with plenty of space. Food excellent. I enjoyed both dinner on the night I arrived and breakfast the following morning. I had booked fly-fishing lessons from Sue (who is a qualified instructor), which I can also recommend highly, so it made sense to stay with them as well. I would stay there again, even without... Thank you very much for your lovely comments, we are always really happy to have fishing people here to stay as well as artists, musicians and those interested in organic gardening. Our fishing and spinning courses have been very well received. You would be most welcome back anytime, perhaps next time your wife will join you. Sue More

We came for the fishing and for tuition by Sue. There were no disappointments, and we shall return for more of the same next year. Sue and Simon are very welcoming, the accommodation is very comfortable, and the culinary skills most tempting. Sue is an absolutely excellent fly-fishing tutor, and we had two splendid days on loch and river with... More
