We had the pleasure of staying for a night at the weekend. Friendly helpful staff. Comfortable warm room, which although facing the rear of the property was more than adequate for our stay. We made full use of the upstairs lounge with its lovely views out the big bay window. Breakfast was substantial. We will return.

Great location on the esplanade. Comfortable, well appointed bedroom. Great breakfast in the morning. Really helpful staff who took time with their guests to make sure they had all the information they needed for the day. Thoroughly recommended.

A really nice older style hotel on the waterfront at Oban, so an easy walk into town for restaurants shops etc, but off the main drag, also convenient access to the ferry terminal. Lovely walks nearby, we even saw otters swimming while eating our breakfast here.

This guest house has been in the same family for decades, and the historic atmosphere has been preserved. The couple running it are very friendly and capable. We stayed here two nights while on a Rabbie's tour. We had a lovely large room with a wonderful view of the waterfront. It is a bit of a walk to the restaurants, but we had good weather so it wasn't a problem.

I only stayed one night and I found the the room to be a good value. I would suggest that if you are getting off the ferry and have some luggage with you and no transportation, it is advisable to get a taxi from the ferry port since it is a fifteen minute walk. Taxi fare is under 5 pounds.... More
